Epic - Not Able to Get Past Launch Screen

We're aware that some players are unable to get past the "Press Any Button" screen when launching Slime Rancher 2 on the Epic Games launcher.

Option 1: Launch from the Epic Games Launcher
The addition of achievements requires Slime Rancher 2 to be launched via Epic's launcher to start successfully and you must have an internet connection, so make sure you using that and not using a shortcut to the local client.

Option 2: Relog into your Epic account
This may simply be a temporary login issue. Signing out of your Epic Games account and then signing back in often resolves the problem.

Option 3: Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64)
In other cases, this issue can be resolved by installing the most recent Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64). Download it directly from Microsoft here:

After installing the package, please restart your computer and try launching the game again.

Option 4: Reinstall the game in a new location
There is also a chance this may be caused by a folder permissions conflict. Reinstalling to a different location may resolve this.
